The Cabra-Vale Diggers cup was amazing this year with the finalists, Kiss me Katuts and YOLOSWAGZ playing in the grand finals. The Kiss me Katuts were dominating the YOLOSWAGZ by half time but the SWAGZ were determined to win the cup and battled their way back into the game. At full time, the score was extremely close going in the Katuts favour. What a great game that was for the Katut's with a score of 20-15. Even though the Katut's have lost a few games they came out on top in the end with an excellent Cabra-Vale diggers cup.
Zone Cross Country
It was a wet and muddy day when the Zone Cross Country was held, at the Fairfield Showground. The representatives had very wet socks. They were running in puddles, mud and other unpleasant things. "The mud was knee deep, and we had to run on the side of the track just to avoid going through it", said Brydon a year 7 representative. The course was challenging measuring 3.8 km and they had to conquer a huge hill just to finish the race. "Although, I didn't qualify into the Regionals, I knew I tried my best and I still represented my school in the zone", said Brydon who came 4th last.
Zone Athletics Carnival
The Zone Athletics Carnival had a wide variety of different sports. To qualify for the zone athletics, competitiors had to come at least third for any sport. The competitors had a great day and this student said it all. At the end of the day we could easily say that our school did an excellent job at the carnival.
